Tasting note:Pale, green-tinged yellow. Peach, flowers
and hazelnut on classic Puligny nose. Then sweet and fruity in the
mouth, with very ripe stone fruit flavors complicated by hints of honey
and menthol. The dusty, slightly aggressive finish displays excellent
density and an intriguing flinty character. Boasts impressive volume
for village wine. (89 pts. Stephen Tanzer)
Tasted: September 2011
Score: 89
Tasting note: Here the somewhat more elegant nose is
composed of similar aromatics as that of the Bourgogne but there is
better energy and delineation to the medium-bodied flavors that possess
solid depth and length plus fine underlying tension on the lingering and
balanced finish. A lovely if not truly distinguished villages. (87-90 pts. Burghound)
Tasted: Jun. 01, 2010
Score: 87-90
Drink: 2014+
