Tasting note: Notes of creme de cassis, loamy soil, graphite, and spice box jump from the glass of this dark purple-colored, medium to full-bodied Pauillac. Although somewhat monolithic, it appears to have plenty of depth, purity, and overall equilibrium. (88-90pts. Robert Parker)
Tasted: Apr. 2010
Score: 88-90
Drink: 2010-25
Tasting note: Showing a lovely, dark color of fine intensity, this wine offers a fruity, ripe, fresh, spicy and smoky nose. Soft and pulpy on entry, it then delivers an aromatic body with taste and a mellow character on the palate. The wine performs caressing and melts before finishing flavorful over fine tannins and a good length full of aromas. Very nice ! (89pts. Jean-Marc Quarin)
Tasted: Mar. 2010
