Tasting note: My best rating ever given to this wine during futures campaigns.
Lovely, dark, intense color. Fruity, creamy nose. Mellow mouth, flavorful, developing rather aromatic and supple without the tannic harshness present in the past. Long finish, with strong, but fine, tannins. This wine has changed a lot. The parcels located on graves soil, relatively distant from the property, are said to be used to complete the blend. This is rather a happy choice. 2009 is the greatest vintage for this estate.

Tasting note: The finest wine made here since the 2005, the 2009 (a blend of 53% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) was harvested between September 29 and October 22. Its dense purple color is followed by abundant aromas of camphor, charcoal, barrique, blackberries, and creme de cassis. Dense, structured, and full-bodied with high, but sweet, well-integrated tannins, and tremendous precision as well as freshness, this 2009 should evolve for 20-25 years.
