Tasting note: A well-known property for shrewd consumers to seek out, this 100% Merlot wine offers loads of unadulterated, unmasked ripe cherry and currant fruit as well as a hint of minerality in a soft, round style ideal for near-term consumption. It’s drinking well already and should evolve for 3-4 years. (86-87pts. RP, Wine Advocate)

Tasting note:A balanced and easy young wine, with cool, clean and minerally fruit character, firm tannins and a medium finish. (87-90pts. JS, Wine Spectator)

Tasting note:My best rating ever given to this wine during futures campaigns
Denis Barraud (in charge of L'Insolence and Les Gravières) has definitely made a very good Bordeaux, which shows good color, a well ripe fruit and a mellow expression on the palate and which performs both juicy and powerful on finish. It offers tannins that are well coated by the fruit and finishes over a good length. A success.
