Tasting note: An ever-so-mildly exotic character that resembles muscat can be detected amid the smoky white peach and apricot suffused nose that introduces rich yet remarkably well-detailed and lightly mineral-driven flavors that culminate in a mouth coating, balanced and harmonious finish. This too should be excellent and I particularly like the sense of underlying tension. (92pts. Burghound)

Tasting note: The aromatics seem to literally jump out of the glass in Dauvissat’s 2009 Chablis Vaillons. This is a wonderfully expressive, young Chablis endowed with considerable personality and class. Initially a touch compact, the Vaillons opens up beautifully to reveal an expressive mid-palate and finish. The warm vintage gives this typically steely, taut wine a measure of richness and generosity that make it unusually approachable in its infancy. (93pts. AG, Wine Advocate)

Tasting note: Pale lemon-yellow color.  Crushed stone and citrus peel on the nose.  Broad and glyceral in the mouth but not exotic, with excellent energy to its crystallized lemon peel flavor.  Lovely ripeness and sweetness of fruit in the mid-palate, then almost austere on the long finish.
