Tasting note: Soft, silky, incredibly sexy notes of licorice, tobacco leaf, cigar tobacco, cassis, and cherries soar from the glass of this full-bodied Carbonnieux, which seems to have a few extra layers of fruit, glycerin, and depth than usual. The wine has great fruit, purity, and lots of personality. (89-92pts. Robert Parker)
Tasted: Apr. 2010
Score: 89-92
Drink: N/A
Tasting note: Showing a lovely, intense, dark color with a fruity, creamy and smoky nose, this wine offers a sweet and intensely fruity character that develops aromatic until the mid-palate. It finishes slightly firm and over a good length. Barrel aging will smooth out its firmness. (87pts. Jean-Marc Quarin)
