WINE IS DUE TO ARRIVE IN 2011-13
Format: 750ml Wine Name: Chateau Arnauton Vineyard:
Designation: Appellation: Fronsac
Producer: Chateau Arnauton Varietal: Red Bordeaux Blend Type: Red
Country: France Region: Bordeaux Sub-Region: Libournais Alcohol:
Tasting note: Mineral and blueberry aromas. Full and velvety, with light spice and berry character. Very pretty. (88-91pts. JS, Wine Spectator)
Tasted: March 2010 Score: 88-91 Drink: N/A
Tasting note: A sleeper of the vintage, its opaque purple hue is followed by sweet aromas of blueberries, blackberries, charcoal, incense, and graphite. Full-bodied, powerful, and layered, like its sibling, it is very impressive, and for the significant difference in price, this would be my choice (90-92pts. RP, Wine Advocate)
Tasted: April 2010 Score: 90-92 Drink:
