"Martaella Vineyard and King Family Vineyards are adjacent properties on Hartman Road. They are both planted with the Pommard clone of Pinot Noir, and were both affected by a lack of frost protection, resulting in a loss of over half their crop. Because of the lack of fruit, the grapes from these vineyards were fermented together in equal amounts to produce 1,555 bottles of concentrated, rich black cherry flavored wine. Try crispy duck or veal scallopini with this wine. "
