Tasting note: The 2008 Chambolle-Musigny Les Beaux-Bruns is a beautiful wine. The linearity of the vintage is nicely balanced by the fleshiness this site confers. The Beaux Bruns is a relatively approachable 2008 that impresses for its gorgeous balance and long, polished finish. (91pts AG, Wine Advocate) Tasted: May 2011 Score: 91 Drink: 2018-28
Tasting note: Medium red. Slightly reduced nose hints at orange peel and caramel. Then sweet and supple on the palate, with lovely red fruit flavors complicated by strong soil tones. Has much more middle-palate flesh to support its acidity than Barthod's village Chambolle. Finishes broad and persistent. A good vintage for this bottling.
