Kerner Estate: Kerner Estate is a small, family-run winery, nestled at the juncture of the Wairau and Waihopai Rivers in Marlborough, a gorgeous spot at the top of New Zealand’s South Island. Kerner Estate was established by Joanne and Bruce Kerner in 2000 with a mission to produce limited quantities of high-quality wines that capture the fresh, vibrant fruit flavours for which the Marlborough region is so celebrated.
2007 Kerner Estate Pinot Noir: The mid-deep, red colour of the 07 Pinot Noir promises full, fruit-forward characters which arrive in the aromas of bright summer red berries and luscious black fruits. Ripe cherries are destincly evident, along with savoury, forest-floor notes and spice. The wine has a full, rewarding palate, touching on textured layers of ripe berries and subtle oak, with an elegant, poised finish. - Kerner Estate
