Tasting note: This is also quite aromatically restrained with an elegant and distinctly floral nose of red pinot and dark berry fruit aromas that are in keeping with the finer and even more finely detailed middle weight flavors that offer upper impressive pure and backend minerality. As it almost always is, this is a wine of subtlety and grace and while the finish is slightly dry at present, there is a good chance that it will eventually round out. (89-90pts.
