Tasting note: "You can tell this is going to be something special as soon as you pour it. Its beautiful dark color and inky texture is immediately apparent. On the palate this classic Priorat brings waves of dark fruit, smoke, and graphite. I hate the fact that this wine is in the 40's because I understand that 40-50 dollars is a whole lot of money for a bottle of wine but this insane effort is actually one of the best value wines I have had in ages. The loaded fruit and the complex finish rival some of the top $100+ wines from this region and the elegance and flawless freshness of this wine will go down in history. I can go on and on about this effort and the wine's uncanny freshness and depth of flavors and wild spices that dance on your palate but I will wrap up with the fact that it is one of the only wines (maybe 5 total) in the last 3 years that I am taking home 2 cases of.
