Tasting note: A ripe, earthy and somewhat somber nose of dark berry fruit aromas leads to muscular, firm and punchy middle weight flavors that are underpinned by finer tannins than one usually finds with Gevrey villages wines. This is not particularly complex but should develop more with a few years of bottle age as this clearly has the capacity to improve with time. Solid quality here. (87-89pts.
