Tasting note: A pretty mineral-infused red pinot and dark berry fruit nose trimmed in violet notes and subtle wood combines with rich, detailed, fresh and stony flavors that offer lovely texture on the elegant but decidedly firm finish. This is a classically styled and decidedly serious Gevrey with a robust but stylish character that is sleek rather than rustic. In a word, beautiful. (92pts. Burghound)
