Tasting note: Strikingly pretty aromas of spicy black fruit, earth and violet aromas merge into medium full and sweet flavors that are moderately austere, powerful and quite masculine in character though there is no trace of rusticity or undue aggressiveness about the tannin profile. This is quite a nice wine for the vintage with good concentration and balance that should enable it to improve nicely over the mid-term.(89pts AM, Burghound)
