Tasting note: The spicy 2003 The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon (aged in equal
parts new French and new American oak) reveals copious quantities of
black currants, cedar, vanilla, and white chocolate aromas, followed by
spicy, tannic, full-bodied, powerful, dense, well-structured flavors. It

cherry, singed plum, blackcurrant and cedary cigar box, plus a touch of
anise. Firmly structured cabernet, with dusty red and black cherry,
espresso and dried rose flavors and a faint raisiny note. Gains
sweetness and weight with air, finishing on a slightly dry tannic note
