Tasting note: Produced from the highest section of Latour’s large parcel of Meursault Genevrieres, the 2002 explodes from the glass with spicy creamed anise, flowers, spices, and minerals. A wine of huge breadth, flesh, and depth, it is medium to full-bodied, massively rich, yet elegant. Loads of plums, white peaches, apples, pears, and spices can be found throughout its hedonistic core of fruit. (92-94pts. PR, Wine Advocate)

Tasting note: An exuberantly spicy and wonderfully elegant nose leads to precise, sweet, classy and pure flavors that offer excellent intensity and lovely finishing freshness. Tasting note: Nuanced, tangy aromas of orange, lemon and baking spices; offers noteworthy aromatic lift. Then broad on the palate but uncompromisingly dry, perhaps owing to its strong mineral component. But this is vibrant and subtle, with a wide palette of mineral and fruit flavors. (91(+?)pts.
