Tasting note: Subdued but pure, site-typical aromas of lemon, minerals, hazelnut and vanilla. Creamy, sweet and easygoing, with impressive volume. Finishes sweet and very long, with surprising grip in light of its gentle mid-palate. Still, Girardin recommends holding off on virtually all of the 2002s for three to five years.
